What is the capacity of Dar Makhtara?

Our main hall accommodates up to:

  • 180 seated guests

  • 250 standing guests
    The garden can host approximately 250 people.

What are the rental rates?

What is included in the rental price?

  • Use of the main hall

  • Two bridal suites with a bathroom

  • Cleaning staff for restroom maintenance during the event

  • Access to the garden

  • Two kitchens

  • Security staff

  • Pre- and post-event cleaning

  • Heated, air-conditioned, and well-lit premises

Is there a minimum number of guests required to rent the venue?

No, but our venue is typically suited for groups of 30 or more.

Can we use the garden?

Yes, the garden is designed to provide privacy for your events.

What types of events can be hosted at Villa Dar Makhtara?

Our reception hall is ideal for private or corporate events, including weddings, baptisms, birthdays, seminars, photoshoots, VIP parties, and more.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a 20% deposit of the total reservation amount is required to confirm your booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel your event, the 20% deposit will be retained as compensation.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept checks, cash, bank cards, and transfers. The full balance must be paid 24 hours before the event.

When can we access the venue before the event?

The venue is available for all vendors starting at 2 PM for evening events. For morning events, vendor arrival times will be arranged individually.

What time does music need to stop?

Music and lighting must stop at 5:00 AM without exception.

Can we have lantern releases or fireworks?

Releasing lanterns, fireworks, firecrackers, rockets, and other loud items is strictly prohibited.

Can we smoke inside the venue?

Dar Makhtara is a 100% smoke-free venue. Smoking indoors (main hall, kitchens, restrooms, bridal suites) is strictly prohibited for safety reasons. Smoking areas are available in the garden.

Is parking available?

Yes! There is outdoor parking surrounding the villa.

What services do you offer?

To ensure the success of your event, Dar Makhtara provides a range of services, including venue rental, event planning, catering, decoration, florists, sound, video, photography, security, and more.

Do you recommend service providers?

Yes, we work with trusted partners to create custom events, including Negafa, orchestras, florists, DJs, photographers, decorators, and more.

Can I use my own caterer or service providers?

Absolutely! You are free to bring your own caterer and service providers.

What’s included in your menu pricing?

  • Selected menu

  • Setup and breakdown of the hall

  • Tables, chairs, linens, dishes

  • Service during the event

Does your catering service operate outside of Villa Dar Makhtara?

No, we focus all our energy on providing the best service on-site.

Can you accommodate non-mixed weddings?

Yes! Weather permitting, you can use both the main hall and garden to separate guests.
